No Kill Louisville is a 501c3 non-profit that was founded in April 2010. We are an ever-growing group of animal lovers who believe that it is possible to save every adoptable animal in Louisville. This is an 11-part process that has proven to be successful across the country (and the world!). These programs, known nation-wide as the "No Kill Equation" are:

No Kill Louisville seeks to create a No Kill community by aiding local shelters and rescue groups so that they can function at their highest quality, or by initiating new programs that will help save additional lives. We are driven by the knowledge that other cities have had great success in implementing the No Kill equation. We know that a community that values and protects animals is a community to be proud of.
